Spain's Telefonica SA (TEF.MC) is in an advanced negotiation process to sell some of its data centers, it said late Wednesday, though no firm deal has yet been reached.

The news follows an announcement in February and media reports, Telefonica said. The telecoms company said it will disclose promptly if and when any deals are tied up.
