Retailer Target Corp. (TGT) said Thursday it is offering same-day delivery through its website, Target.com.

The website offers a dedicated experience for same-day shopping, Target said, and also said it will contain weekly promotions.

Target said it is using its independent delivery service subsidiary, Shipt, to provide over 65,000 items for same-day delivery. Customers will pay a $9.99 delivery fee, although they can sign up for a four-week free trial on Target.com, the company said.

Target also said REDcard holders will receive 5% off their orders.
