appointment of Collin Crownover to global head of Currency
Management. Based in London, Crownover reports to Rick Lacaille,
European chief investment officer, and Alistair Lowe, head of
Global Asset Allocation and Currency. �Collin�s appointment to head

Crownover has more than 10 years of experience with sell- and
buy-side firms in developing innovative currency research. He joins
SSgA from Citigroup in New York and London, where he served as
global head of the Investor Risk Advisory team. Prior to Citigroup,
he held titles of currency analyst and head of quantitative
currency research for Putnam Investments in Boston, Mass., and
research officer and analyst for Barclays Global Investors in San
Francisco, Calif. Crownover holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in economics
from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a B.A. in
economics and business administration from Graceland University in
