Stanley Black & Decker Inc.'s (SWK) DeWalt unit is recalling
about 122,000 DWD110 and DWD112 drills in the U.S. because the
drills' wiring can contact internal moving parts, posing a shock
hazard, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said
Tuesday.
The drills were sold by Home Depot Inc. (HD), Lowe's Cos. (LOW),
Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) and other retailers from September 2017
through November 2018 for between $60 and $70, the agency said,
adding that no injuries have been reported.
Another 8,000 of the drills were sold in Canada, the CPSC
said.
