TORONTO, April 9, 2015 /CNW/ - In a unanimous 10-0 vote,
Pitt Meadows, B.C.'s Graig Merritt became the fourth person evicted
from Big Brother Canada. The 36 year-old MLB Scout
fell victim to one of the most devious and dramatic backdoors Big
Brother has ever seen. Graig joins Risha, Sindy, and Naeha in
sequester as they eagerly wait for the final houseguest to complete
the First Five – a group of lucky houseguests who will compete for
a chance to re-enter the house and blow the roof off like never
before.
"Leaving the house is very emotional. Looking back on how I
played the game, I think I competed too much. In the Big Brother
house you have to shut down the competition at times but I went
full throttle from start to finish," said Graig in a raw
post-eviction state of mind. On his reaction to Arisa's news that
he may have another life in the house, he stated, "Arisa's news was
overwhelming. When she first said it, I wasn't sure if I wanted
back in the house, but after collecting my thoughts I definitely
want to get back in there and compete."
Brittnee's reign as HOH turned the house upside down and sent
the dominant Chop Shop spiraling out of control with two members of
their alliance on the block in the end. Brittnee's master plan
played out seamlessly, first nominating Bobby and Kevin, both pawns
in her master plan, and set up the roost that Johnny was her real
target, when in reality she had set her sights on Graig. With
Graig's false sense of security solidified, Johnny pulled out an
epic POV win, took his Kevy Wevy off the block, and Brittnee
gleefully named Graig Merritt as the
replacement nominee. From Pawn to Queen in just one week, Brittnee
pulled off one of the most flawless backdoors in Big Brother
Canada history, sending Graig home in a 10-0 vote,
eliminating a power player and flipping the house upside down.
Moments after Graig's eviction, the houseguests began airing out
dirty laundry in a new HOH competition fighting for the coveted
house power, with an additional $5,000 prize courtesy of OxiClean™ Laundry
Detergent. Watch Sunday's nomination episode to see who wins HOH
and which houseguests they'll put on the chopping block. Arisa also
announced the next #TwistosTwist, giving Canada the chance to vote on next week's POV
at www.BigBrotherCanada.ca. The special Power of Veto will play out
one of two ways, depending on how Canada votes, and will see the houseguests
either play a "forced veto", leaving them with no option but to
replace a nominee, or a double veto where both nominees will need
to be replaced. Either way, the new HOH is bound to get blood on
their hands and the shock value will be elevated to new
heights.
