NextEra Energy Inc. said it boosted its adjusted earnings guidance for 2022 to 2025.

Shares were up 1.4% to $73.45 premarket.

The parent of utility Florida Power & Light Co. said it now expects adjusted earnings per share for 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 to be in the range of $2.80 to $2.90, $2.98 to $3.13, $3.23 to $3.43 and $3.45 to $3.70, respectively.

The company had said in April it expected 2022 adjusted EPS of $2.75 to $2.85. For 2023 through 2025, NextEra Energy expected to grow roughly 6% to 8% a year off the expected 2022 adjusted EPS, the company said at the time. That would mean for 2023 through 2025, adjusted EPS of $2.93 to $3.08, $3.13 to $3.33 and $3.35 to $3.60, respectively, the company said in April.

NextEra said it is hosting an investor conference on Tuesday.
