MetLife Names Bill Pappas Head of Global Technology, Operations

MetLife Inc. (MET) on Thursday said it named Bill Pappas
executive vice president and head of global technology and
operations, effective Nov. 19.
The New York insurance and financial-services company said Mr.
Pappas joins from Bank of America Corp. (BAC), where he was head of
operations for the consumer, small business, wealth-management and
private-banking businesses.
MetLife said Mr. Pappas, who will report to President and Chief
Executive Michel Khalaf, will become an executive officer of the
company and a member of its executive group.
Martin Lippert retired as MetLife executive vice president and
head of global technology and operations earlier this year.
