Mastercard Inc. (MA) on Monday said it named Raj Seshadri president of its data and services organization.

The Purchase, N.Y., payments-technology company said Ms. Seshadri, who had been serving as president of U.S. issuers, succeeds Kevin Stanton, who has taken on a new role as chief transformation officer.

Mastercard said Linda Kirkpatrick, currently executive vice president of U.S. merchants and acceptance, will succeed Ms. Seshadri as president of U.S. issuers.
