Lockheed Martin Corp. (LMT) on Monday said it exceeded a joint government and industry goal by delivering its 134th F-35 aircraft of the year.

Lockheed Martin said 2019 F-35s deliveries were 81 for the U.S., 30 for international partner nations and 23 for foreign military sales customers. The latest aircraft delivered was a Short Takeoff and Vertical Landing model for the U.S. Marine Corps, the company said.

Lockheed Martin said it plans to deliver 141 F-35 aircraft next year, and is ready to increase volume to hit peak production in 2023.

The company said it increased deliveries of the jet by 47% from last year.

The price of an F-35A is now $77.9 million, Lockheed Martin said, meeting an $80 million goal a year earlier than planned.
