(NYSE: JKS) ("JinkoSolar"), a reputable global solar module
manufacturer, today held the opening ceremony for its new
state-of-the-art solar panel manufacturing facility at 4660 POW-MIA
Memorial Parkway, Jacksonville,
Florida.
Pilot production at the manufacturing facility began in
November 2018 and has since been
steadily ramping up. Once fully operational, the $50 million facility will employ more than 200
workers and manufacture 400 megawatts of high powered 60-cell and
72-cell monocrystalline PERC modules annually.
The opening ceremony featured remarks by Nigel Cockroft, General Manager of JinkoSolar
(U.S.) Inc.; Charlie Cao, CFO of JinkoSolar; Jamal Sowell, President and CEO of Enterprise Florida; Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry; and
Jacksonville City Council President Aaron
Bowman.
