Honeywell International Inc. (HON) Monday said it has acquired Rebellion Photonics, a provider of visual gas monitoring solutions to the oil and gas, petrochemical, and power industries, for an undisclosed amount.

The Morris Plains, N.J., conglomerate said Houston-based Rebellion, which offers a real-time monitoring platform that visually identifies and quantifies gas releases, will become part of its safety and productivity-solutions business.

Honeywell said there is no change to its 2019 financial guidance as a result of the acquisition.
