Note - Schwab operates this program at the ACCOUNT level (which can be an issue). In other words, if you authorize lending for a given account, ANY security in that account can be lent out.

I would prefer it to be security by security within each account - in other words, I'd like to authorize the account for lending but then be able to say "no lending on WXYZ". I have suggested this to Schwab several times but it has not changed and I don't expect it to.

yes - that is their securities lending program. It is pretty simple. You authorize your account for such lending, then they can grab the shares at any time and lend them out. They split the income with you. At any time you can see what rate you are being paid on any stock they have borrowed, and at any time it only takes a phone call if you want to have them retrieve the loaned shares so you can sell them.

It is a good way to get some current income out of stocks that don't pay dividends, especially on stocks you are holding for the long term. They do pay out to you every month (even though the interest rate they quote is, naturally, an annual one). The interest rate varies by stock and over time - it is tied to the rate at which they are loaning out the shares. Sometime the rate paid to you can get pretty high - up in the 30% rate.

If your perspective is short term then you might be concerned that this makes shares available to shorts and therefore might depress the price short term - but that is not an issue if you are not looking at short-term trading in the stock.

I have done this with many securities at Schwab in the past, although I have nothing out on load at present.

Maybe this is a test run before PTLR BUYS BBAI.....IMO

As of 10:25am all my tech stocks except D-Wave are down.
In fact D-wave has more than Double since I jump in back on 12/13/24

I have IonQ that closed today at another new high.

Looking for a continuation of what happened today also tomorrow- in both AI and Quantum stocks!

We got used to this type of thing, didn't we? lol. We like it!

I don't agree if you look at some of the other ai/ quantum stocks that pumped recently they pumped way higher than bbai, and bbai actual has revenue and good government contracts ... I will also add work with pltr... also Alex keep sold a ton of shares of pltr at $40 and now it's $77... I believe this is a real relevant ai company ... $20 is in play here its valuation is way lower than piers ... at least $9

My link was just to clear up those who claim some evil short. Officers are taking a profit. I didn't look up what percentage of her holdings she sold off. I'd be very concerned if its a large percentage.

Never shorted a stock in my life. Just being real. I don't post lies and pumps on ihub to try and steal money like a lot of people. This company needs bigger contracts. They have a ton of debt. Its just fomo right now because everything is running. Maybe it goes to $4 or $5 who knows but the pull back will happen pretty significantly if they don't get it together quick with much larger contracts. I've done my homework on this for over two years now.

Fwb, sane here. Although I do have a ton of warrants, and they are holding up much better. A good sign in my opinion, as warrant investors tend to have a longer term view of the market.

I rode it up from the mid $1.00 range to it highs a few days ago, now I riding BBAI back down
