Scor SE and London-based lender Barclays PLC have put an end to their legal dispute related to the failed takeover attempt of the French insurer by rival Covea, Scor said Monday.

"In consideration of certain commitments by Barclays and Scor, the parties have settled the dispute before the High Court in London on mutually acceptable terms," the company said.

Scor didn't disclose the terms of the deal.

The company sued Barclays in 2019 over "breach of confidence and trade secrets" as it claimed at the time that the bank--which was advising Covea in its attempt to take over Scor--had obtained sensitive and confidential documents about the company.

The settlement comes after Scor also signed an agreement with Covea last week to end months of acrimony and legal action that followed Covea's takeover plan that was abandoned in early 2019.
