Banco Santander Names Nonexecutive Chairman for Spanish Unit

Banco Santander SA (SAN.MC) said Wednesday that it has appointed
Luis Isasi Fernandez de Bobadilla as a director and as the
nonexecutive chairman of its Spanish division.
Mr. Isasi will join the board of Banco Santander, replacing
Guillermo de la Dehesa. He will replace Rodrigo Echenique as the
nonexecutive chairman of the Spanish subsidiary.
The Madrid-listed lender said the appointment will be presented
at the company's next general shareholder's meeting in 2020.
