Wetherbee Named President of ATI Metalworking Products

Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (NYSE: ATI) announced that
Robert S. Wetherbee has been named Business Unit President of ATI
Metalworking Products, effective June 14, 2010. Headquartered in
Nashville, TN, ATI Metalworking Products produces the ATI Stellram
and ATI Firth Sterling brands of tungsten-based cutting tools,
abrasives, high-speed threading products, tungsten powders,
tungsten carbide products, and tungsten heavy alloys. ATI
Metalworking Products serves the oil and gas, aerospace and
defense, electrical energy, medical, and automotive markets.
Bob Wetherbee joins ATI following a 29-year career with Alcoa,
Inc. where he was most recently Vice President, Market Strategy,
responsible for growth strategies for business units in the global
aerospace, oil and gas, and transportation industries.
Mr. Wetherbee reports to David M. Hogan, who remains Group
President of ATI’s Engineered Products segment comprised of ATI
Metalworking Products, ATI Portland Forge, ATI Casting Service, and
ATI Rome Metals business units.
