that encourages people to find inspiration to visualize and achieve
their goals. The “Eye Can, Eye Will” campaign is based on Laurie’s

"The road to winning gold again in 2020 won’t be easy, but I
know having a clear vision, the right mindset and exceptional
eyesight will help get me there,” said Hernandez. “These days,
constantly repeating mantras like ‘eye can, eye will’ on the
balance beam or just going about my day helps keep my eyes on the
prize and my head in the game. Having my mantra, along with my
DAILIES TOTAL1® contact lenses, means I can visualize success and,
hopefully, bring home the gold again. Eye can, eye will and so can
you!”
The “Eye Can, Eye Will” campaign encourages everyone to create a
personal saying through a newly launched online “mantra maker” that
will help them see their potential and achieve their goals. The
tool takes the user through a series of introspective questions
and, at the end, produces a shareable and printable customized
mantra in the form of a digital eye chart.
In addition to the online mantra maker, the campaign will
feature inspirational videos of Laurie – on and off the beam –
created to give people a peek inside what motivates her. The
overall goal of the online tool and videos is to encourage people
to achieve their goals by finding inspiration and affirmation;
harness the will, focus and self-confidence to reach their
potential; and drive awareness of DAILIES TOTAL1® contact
lenses.
“Alcon is proud to continue our partnership with Laurie
Hernandez, especially during such an important time in her career,”
said Sergio Duplan, Region President, Alcon North America. “The
‘Eye Can, Eye Will’ campaign is perfectly timed, as the sheer hard
work, determination and great vision needed to achieve her goals
will inspire others also striving to become their personal best.
DAILIES TOTAL1® contact lenses are designed to provide exceptional
comfort and we know they will be the perfect addition to help
Laurie and others achieve success.”
