UMB Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: UMBF) and Denver-based Mountain States Bancorporation, Inc. have completed the acquisition of Mountain States Bank by UMB Financial Corporation. Effective Friday, Sept. 15, UMB Financial Corporation merged Mountain States Bank into UMB Bank Colorado, n.a., a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation. Following the acquisition of Mountain States Bank, UMB Bank Colorado will add approximately $234 million in total deposits, increasing total deposits to approximately $628 million. Customers of Mountain States Bank will benefit from a much larger suite of products and services, as well as the convenience of numerous ATM locations with free transactions. Additionally, UMB customers will benefit from a sixth branch location in Denver in addition to five existing branch locations in Colorado Springs. UMB Financial Corporation (NASDQ: UMBF) is a multi-bank holding company headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., offering complete banking and related financial services to both individual and business customers nationwide. Its banking subsidiaries own and operate 141 banking centers throughout Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Arizona.
