Dennis Triplett, president of Healthcare Services at UMB Bank
(Nasdaq: UMBF), has been appointed to the Health Savings Account
(HSA) Council. The HSA Council, formed by the American Bankers
Association and the American Bankers Insurance Association,
consists of banks, insurers, and technology leaders dedicated to
increasing the distribution of health savings accounts through
banks. As a charter member of the HSA Council, Triplett will aid
the banking industry in creating health care changes in America to
save for future medical needs. "Dennis Triplett's management has
positioned UMB as a leader in advancing health care solutions in
America," said Peter deSilva, president and chief operating officer
of UMB. "This appointment is a great honor for Dennis, and
demonstrates his credibility and respect within the industry."
Triplett has over 27 years of banking experience and has directed
the development of UMB's financial services to the health care
industry. Triplett earned his MBA at the University of Missouri,
