T-Mobile Strikes 5-Year Deals With Ericsson, Nokia To Expand 5G Network

T-Mobile U.S. Inc. has struck five-year, multibillion-dollar
deals with Telefon AB L.M. Ericsson and Nokia Corp. in a bid to
continue advancing and expanding its 5G network, the company said
Wednesday.
The deals with the telecommunications companies will allow
T-Mobile to add more 5G coverage, capacity, speed and advanced
network capabilities, the company said.
T-Mobile plans to bring capabilities such as 5G carrier
aggregation, voice-over 5G, network slicing and multi-user massive
MIMO to its 5G network.
The Bellevue, Wash.,-based company completed its merger with
Sprint Corp. last year.
