Pervasive Software (NASDAQ: PVSW), a global leader in cloud-based and on-premises data integration, today announced its inclusion in the 2010 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Infrastructure for Systematic Application Integration Projects1.

According to the report, for vendors to be included in this Magic Quadrant, they “must provide — either in the form of multiple products (whether or not framed in a suite) or as a single integrated product — the following key capabilities: classic integration services, multi-enterprise integration support, development and deployment environment, and management.” Additionally, the report states, “This Magic Quadrant focuses on support for systematic integration projects that span internal, B2B and cloud applications, data and interfaces, particularly for projects that include long-term consideration and project planning in the process of design and technology selection for interfaces.”

“We believe our presence in this Magic Quadrant, as well as in the Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools, shows that our technology plays a strategic role in the converging world of data and application integration,” stated Mike Hoskins, Pervasive CTO and general manager of Integration Products. “We continue to invest aggressively in data innovation, including an unparalleled range of connectivity with Pervasive’s Universal CONNECT! initiative and in delivering a single, multi-purpose integration platform for the cloud and for on-premises integration design and deployment.”
