On June 22, 2020, Hepion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing results from a study of its lead drug candidate, CRV431, demonstrating antifibrotic activity in an experimental model of renal fibrosis. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
