Network to Host First-Ever Small Business
Fair Spotlighting Veteran-Owned and Operated Businesses
FOX News Channel (FNC) will celebrate the 100th
anniversary of Veterans Day with special extensive programming on
Monday, November 11th. Part of the network’s ongoing #ProudAmerican
series, FNC will pay tribute to our nation’s heroes throughout the
day. In addition, the network will host its first-ever Veterans Day
Small Business Fair, featuring veteran-owned and operated
businesses live from FOX Square in New York City.
Kicking off with FOX & Friends (6-9AM/ET), FNC’s
Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade will co-host the
network’s signature morning show in front of a live studio audience
comprised of military veterans and service members. The program
will feature a live naturalization ceremony where 12 veterans,
including a 92-year old World War II veteran, will be sworn in as
United States citizens, beginning at 8:30AM/ET. Ken Cuccinelli,
Acting Director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services,
will lead the swearing in ceremony, followed by musician Lee
Greenwood performing the national anthem and his song “God Bless
The USA.” FOX Nation host Abby Hornacek will also join the co-hosts
from FOX Square where she will spotlight the many veteran-owned
businesses like MTM Special Op Watches, Norie Shoes, Savannah Sauce
Company, and Rollors, among others, that will be participating in
the small business fair.
Correspondents Rick Leventhal and David Spunt will also
contribute to the network’s #ProudAmerican coverage throughout the
day, offering live shots and packages from both the Veterans Day
Parade in New York City and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in
Washington, D.C.
Leading up to the anniversary, FOX & Friends Weekend co-host
and veteran Pete Hegseth with host Modern Warriors: A Veterans
Day Special at 10PM/ET on Sunday, November 10th. The program
will include interviews with highly decorated Special Ops veterans,
such as Navy Seals Rob O’Neill and Eddie Gallagher, along with Army
Ranger Mat Best, and Green Beret Scott Mann, where they will
discuss high-stakes missions and the culture within the special
operator communities. Additionally, Gallagher, whose war crimes
case has reportedly caught the attention of President Trump, will
discuss mission risks on the battlefield and the impact his case
has on those currently serving in uniform.
Additionally, FOX Nation, the direct-to-consumer streaming
service, will present two behind-the-scenes features with
combatants on the frontline. Real Marines, hosted by Rick
Leventhal, will feature interviews with top military brass such as
Retired Captain John Branson and Brigadier General Roger Turner,
who discuss the bloodiest months in Ramadi, Iraq and the shift from
the war on terror to the challenges in confronting nuclear powers
like Russia, North Korea, and China. Additionally, FNC
correspondent Steve Harrigan will take viewers behind the
Taliban-controlled lines in Kabul following September 11, 2001
terrorist attacks with Embedded in Harm’s Way. Both programs
will be available starting Thursday, November 7.
