Chris Carter also named as one of CRN’s 50 most influential channel chiefs for the second year running

FireEye, Inc. (NASDAQ: FEYE), the intelligence-led security company, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Chris Carter and Kristi Houssiere on its list of 2020 Channel Chiefs.

The annual list recognizes the top vendor leaders who continually demonstrate exemplary innovation and revenue growth in the IT channel. Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff as a result of their professional achievements, industry standing, exceptional accomplishments and innovative strategies.

Chris Carter serves as Vice President of Americas Channels at FireEye. He is responsible for managing and developing the Americas channel strategy and related routes to market programs. Under his leadership, Carter’s team is responsible for executing partner strategies with leading security Value Added Resellers (VARs), Mananged Security Service Partners (MSSPs) and Integrators while working with distribution partners to increase the market reach of FireEye. He was included on the Channel Chief list for several reasons including his work on introducing new partner margin incentives and new cloud subscription offerings, both of which have been very well received by FireEye partners.

Carter has also been named as one of CRN’s 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs for 2020. This annual list recognizes the elite vendor leaders who lead, influence, innovate, and disrupt the IT channel. The 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs were chosen by the CRN editorial staff as the individuals who stand at the very top of the already select group of Channel Chief honorees.

Kristi Houssiere is Senior Director, National Channel Sales at FireEye and is responsible for building strategic routes to market, high impact programs, and partner engagement and profitability. She also drives sales, channel, marketing and operation efficiency that supports two tier channel initiatives. Houssiere earned her spot on the list for her significant investment in national partners, developing the MSSP offering for partners and the creation of highly valuable and innovative partner enablement content.
