Exelon Corp. on Monday said it named David Glockner to the newly created post of executive vice president of compliance and audit, effective March 23.

The Chicago utility holding company said Mr. Glockner, who currently serves as chief compliance officer for investment firm Citadel LLC, will be responsible for overseeing audit and compliance with internal company policies and key laws and regulations affecting Exelon and its units.

Exelon said Mr. Glockner, 59, previously served as chief of the criminal division in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois, and as regional director of the Securities and Exchange Commission's Chicago office.
