Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On March 25, 2020, Eloxx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release indicating that, in order to avoid unnecessary exposure in at-risk populations, to maintain the integrity of study data and to support global healthcare providers in their commitment to ensure patient safety, enrollment in its Phase 2 clinical trials for ELX-02 in cystic fibrosis have been temporarily paused in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. A copy of the Company’s press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
