Colombia's Canal 1 in Deal to Broadcast Discovery Programming

Colombian broadcast network Canal 1 entered a deal to show
content from Discovery Inc.'s (DISCA) family of channels.
Hemisphere Media Group Inc. (HMTV), a partner in Canal 1, said
under the deal "some of Discovery's most popular programs will air
on Canal 1 during select dayparts throughout the week."
The new "Zona Discovery" programming blocks will debut weekdays
on October 7, and expand to weekends on October 19.
Discovery will oversee advertising sales for "Zona Discovery,"
the companies said.
Financial terms weren't disclosed.
