State below in reasonable detail why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-CEN, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.

 

China XD Plastics Company Limited (the “Company”) is unable to file its annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2019 within the prescribed time period due to constraints on the Company and its personnel resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Company is in the process of preparing and reviewing the financial information and compiling the information to be included in the Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2019, as well as the completion of the required review of the Company’s financial information, none of which could be completed by the date required without incurring undue hardship and expenses. The Company expects to file the annual report on Form 10-K within the fifteen-day extension period prescribed by Rule 12b-25(b)(2)(ii) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
