Bsquare Corp. (BSQR) said Tuesday that it is collaborating with Amazon.com Inc's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services Inc. to meet the increasing demand for Industrial Internet of Things solutions.

The Bellevue, Wash.-based provider of IIoT services and software said in a release that it selected Amazon Web Services as its preferred cloud services provider.

Bsquare said it plans to expand DataV, a suite of edge-to-cloud IoT services and software designed to improve uptime, manageability, and performance of enterprise assets.

Amazon Web Services provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies and governments on a paid subscription basis. The technology gives allows subscribers constant availability to a virtual cluster of computers through the internet.

Shares of Bsquare jumped 23% to $2.36 premarket.
