Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: BMTC) (the “Corporation”),
parent of The Bryn Mawr Trust Company (together with the
Corporation, “BMT”), announced today that Jim Donovan has joined
the organization as Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial &
Industrial Banking. He will report to the President of BMT
Banking, Kevin Tylus, and will be based with the commercial lending
group in Wayne, Pa.
Mr. Donovan will focus on BMT’s expanding
commercial and business banking services and oversee the C&I,
Small Business and SBA lending groups. His appointment is part of
BMT’s strategic plan to ensure the bank is well positioned to
support its growth initiatives.

Mr. Donovan held positions of increasing
responsibility throughout his time at CoreStates, Meridian and,
most recently, M&T where he spent more than 20 years and
oversaw their Pennsylvania Business Banking Division.
He is a graduate of Shippensburg University with
a bachelor’s degree in business administration and received his MBA
from Saint Joseph’s University. Active in the community, Mr.
Donovan has served and volunteered regularly including previous
roles with the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce, the Eagle
Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisburg, United Way of
Schuylkill County, and Treasurer of Junior Achievement of
South-Central Pa.
