Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALSK) today provided a statement regarding the November 30, 2018 earthquake and aftershocks near Anchorage.

“We’re grateful all our employees are safe and that we had no major service impacts from the earthquake. Thank you to our people who monitor our network and support our customers 24/7/365,” said Alaska Communications President and CEO Anand Vadapalli.

Technical support staff were at work today assisting customers. Recovery work is underway and normal service hours will resume Monday, December 3, 2018.
