Royal Philips to Reappoint CEO, CFO

Koninklijke Philips NV (PHIA.AE) said Monday that it intends to propose the reappointment of both its chief executive and chief financial officer to their positions and to the board at the shareholder meeting next year.

The Dutch technology company said it will propose at its annual general meeting on May 9 the reappointment of Frans van Houten as President and CEO and of Abhijit Bhattacharya as CFO.

Mr. van Houten became president and CEO of Philips in 2011, while Mr. Bhattacharya became CFO in 2015.
