Networking Industry Veteran Joins Procera Networks' Board of Directors

LOS GATOS, CA , a developer of Evolved DPI solutions providing
the most accurate traffic awareness, control and protection for
complex networks, today announced that Todd Abbott has joined its
Board of Directors. Abbott, who was recently named Avaya's SVP of
Sales and President of Field Operations, brings an extensive
history of success directing multi-billion dollar operations across
all global theatres. He is a well-respected leader within the
networking industry, and his experience at IBM, Cisco, Symbol and
Seagate, will help shape the future direction and success of
Procera.

Abbott spent almost nine years with Cisco, his last position
there as EMEA Group VP of Service Provider Sales. He also led sales
teams in APAC, where he helped build the business by more than 60
percent year-over-year, and when overseeing EMEA, he directed a
team of 800 to increasing business in the region to more than $2
billion. Abbott most recently served as EVP of Sales, Marketing and
Customer Service at Seagate Technology, where he led three units of
its hard drive business. His marketing responsibilities spanned
corporate, channel and segment, while his customer service tasks
included pre-sales and technical support, customer logistics and
warranty service. Prior to that, he was SVP of Worldwide Sales at
Symbol Technologies, a provider of enterprise mobility solutions.
He also served in various sales and sales management positions
during his 13 years at IBM.
