Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On October 20, 2021, Joan Bottarini, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation (the “Company”), was appointed the Company’s principal accounting officer, effective immediately. Elizabeth M. Bauer, the Company’s previous Senior Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer, has been appointed to serve as the Senior Vice President Finance, Americas, of the Company, and will no longer serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer. Ms. Bottarini has served as the Company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer since November 2018 and also serves as the Company’s principal financial officer.
