Wipro Ltd. said it would acquire Capco, a management and technology consulting firm, for $1.45 billion.

Wipro, a global information-technology, consulting and business-process services company, said London-based Capco's clients include marquee names in the global financial-services industry.

Wipro said the deal will make it one of the largest end-to-end global consulting, technology and transformation service providers to the banking and financial-services industry.

Wipro said it expects the acquisition to close in the quarter ending June 30.
