UnitedHealth Group President Returns Following Leave to Assist WHO with Covid Vaccine

UnitedHealth Group Inc. said Wednesday that its president has
returned from a stint to co-lead an effort by the World Health
Organization to accelerate the development of a Covid-19
vaccine.
In April, the company said Sir Andrew Witty would take a leave
of absence following a request to serve as a global envoy for the
WHO.
On Wednesday, the company said Mr. Witty, who also serves as
chief executive of its Optum unit, would resume his duties
immediately.
