Apple Inc. said it has tapped Greg Joswiak, a company veteran who helped market key products including the iPhone and iPod, as its senior vice president for worldwide marketing.

Mr. Joswiak succeeds Phil Schiller, who joined the company in 1987. Apple said Mr. Schiller will continue to lead the App Store and Apple Events.

Mr. Joswiak has served in Apple leadership roles for more than 20 years, including as vice president of worldwide product marketing for the past four years.
