MoneyGram, Uber Launch Partnership to Support Drivers During Pandemic

MoneyGram International, Inc. on Tuesday said it entered a
partnership with Uber Technologies Inc. to provide discounts for
drivers and couriers who send money to family and friends
overseas.
MoneyGram said anyone who earns on Uber's platform, including
the Driver app, Uber Eats, Uber Freight and Uber Works, is eligible
for the discount. The partnership has initially launched in the
U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K., MoneyGram said.
Alex Holmes, MoneyGram's chairman and chief executive, said:
"This partnership is a direct result of customer feedback, and
we're proud to provide drivers with affordable access to our global
platform during this challenging season brought about by the
Covid-19 pandemic."
