Honeywell International Inc. on Friday said it named retired
U.S. Army General Raymond Odierno a director, expanding the board
to 14 members.
The Morris Plains, N.J., conglomerate said Gen. Odierno, a
former Army chief of staff, will stand for re-election at the
company's annual meeting on April 27 and is expected to join the
board's corporate governance and responsibility committee.
The board will return to 13 members at the meeting with the
planned retirement of Jaime Chico Pardo, who has served as an
independent lead director since 2016. Honeywell in December said
current board member D. Scott Davis will succeed Mr. Pardo as
independent lead director.
