Equity Residential Chief Investment Officer Alan George to Retire

Equity Residential on Thursday said Alan George, currently
executive vice president and chief investment officer, will retire
early next year.
As part of the transition, the Chicago real-estate investment
trust said Mr. George, 62 years old, will step down as chief
investment officer on Sept. 1.
Equity Residential said Alexander Brackenridge, 56, who
currently serves as executive vice president of investments, will
succeed Mr. George as chief investment officer on that date.
Mr. George joined Equity Residential in 1992, has been executive
vice president and chief investment officer since January 2002. Mr.
Brackenridge, who joined the company in 1993, has been executive
vice president of investments since 2015.
