Airbus SE (AIR.FR) said Monday that it has signed a purchase agreement with Chile's low-cost carrier Sky Airline for ten A321XLR jets.

Sky will use the new aircraft to expand its route network, Airbus said.

At Airbus's list price and before industry-standard discount, the order is valued at roughly $1.4 billion.
