Roche Holding AG (RO.EB) said Monday that it has approved first proposals for its board of directors and executive committee ahead of its 2020 annual general meeting.

As previously announced, Andreas Oeri will retire from the board at the upcoming annual general meeting in March, the Swiss pharmaceutical company said. Joerg Duschmale will stand for election as his successor, among other candidates.

Roche also said that Gottlieb A. Keller, general counsel, member of the corporate executive committee and secretary to the board, will retire at the end of March.

Claudia Boeckstiegel, who is currently the head of legal and diagnostics, has been appointed as general counsel and will become a member of the enlarged corporate-executive committee on April 1, according to the company.

Annette Luther, general manager at Roche Diagnostics International AG in Rotkreuz, will succeed Mr. Keller as secretary to the board of directors.
