Exelon Corp. (EXC) said the chief executive of Exelon Utilities is retiring and named an interim leader for the division.

The company said Exelon Utilities CEO Anne Pramaggiore is retiring and Calvin Butler Jr., Baltimore Gas and Electric Company's CEO, is coming in as interim CEO. Both moves are effectively immediately.

Mr. Butler is a part of Exelon's Executive Committee. He will stay BGE's CEO, Exelon said.
