Section 7 – Regulation FD

Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure. On October 10, 2018, Mattel, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a Current Report on Form 8-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, to report that Soren T. Laursen had been appointed Executive Director, effective October 8, 2018. Mr. Laursen’s service as Executive Director concluded on September 30, 2019. Effective October 1, 2019, the Board has appointed Mr. Laursen to the Governance and Social Responsibility Committee.
