AVIANCA HOLDINGS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES CARRIED MORE THAN 2.6 MILLION PASSENGERS

In July 2019, Avianca Holdings and its subsidiaries carried 2,675,740 passengers, a 0.1%

decrease compared to the same period of 2018.

In July 2019, Avianca Holdings S.A. (NYSE: AVH) (BVC: PFAVH) subsidiaries transported 2,675,740 passengers, a 0.1% decrease compared to July 2018. Capacity, measured in ASKs (available seat kilometers), increased 5.1%, while passenger traffic, measured in RPKs (revenue passenger kilometers), increased 1.4% all compared to the same period of 2018. The load factor for the month was 83.6%, a decrease of 303 bps compared to the same period of 2018.

Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador

In July 2019, the subsidiary airlines of Avianca Holdings transported within each of these markets a total of 1,524,671 travelers, down 0.3% when compared to the same period of 2018. Capacity (ASKs) decreased 0.5% while passenger traffic (RPKs) decreased 5.8%. The load factor for the month was 82.5%, a decrease of 467 bps when compared to July 2018.

International markets

In July 2019, the affiliated airlines of Avianca Holdings transported 1,151,069 passengers on international routes, up 0.2% when compared to the same period of 2018. Capacity (ASKs) increased 6.3%, while passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 3.0%. The load factor for the month was 83.8%, a decrease of 269 bps when compared to July 2018.
