Explanatory Note:

On August 22, 2019, Newater Technology, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it currently plans to hold its 2019 Annual Meeting of Shareholders on October 30, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. Beijing time. The meeting will be held at 1 Ruida Road, Laishan District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, China, 264003.
