Accenture receives highest score in Current Offering category

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been named as a Leader in Forrester’s latest report on application modernization and migration. The Forrester Wave™: Application Modernization and Migration Services, Q3 2019 states that Accenture’s “vision is far-reaching, and it’s able to balance a modernization mindset with a broad capability for modern software development and effective cloud migration.”

Out of the 14 vendors that were evaluated, Accenture received the highest score in the Current Offering category as well as the highest score possible in the Cloud Technology Support criterion. The report notes that, “Accenture differentiates by its strong breadth of capabilities. Client references said the company is surprisingly flexible and can call upon extensive cloud knowledge due to its close working relationships with public cloud leaders…”

Each vendor’s position on the vertical axis of the Forrester Wave graphic indicates the strength of its current offering and strategy and size of its market presence. The report states that, “With the ability to offer engagement services that range from strategy and assessment to operations, Accenture takes a multidisciplinary approach to application modernization and migration.”
