ADSW Advanced Disposal Services Inc

Shareholders of Advanced Disposal Services Inc. (ADSW) approved an acquisition by Waste Management Inc. (WM) in a special meeting Friday.

Advanced Disposal shareholders will receive $33.15 per share in cash once the transaction is finalized.

Waste Management reached a deal to buy competitor Advanced Disposal Services for around $2.9 billion in April, marking one of the biggest solid-waste company deals in more than a decade.
