--JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) has asked a court to prevent
Walmart Inc. (WMT) from using the name Jetblack for a personal
shopper service, claiming it infringes on its trademark, Reuters
reported Monday.
--JetBlue also said Walmart is planning to use other
combinations of Jet plus a color, which the airliner claims are
trademark infringements, the report said.
--A Walmart spokesman said, "We take this issue seriously, and
once we are served with the complaint will respond appropriately
with the court," the report said.
-Neither JetBlue nor its lawyers immediately responded to a
request for comment.
