Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy S.A. (SGRE.MC) said Monday that it has received a conditional order for an offshore wind farm project in Taiwan.

The order is for the supply of wind turbines, including a 20-year full-service agreement for the 376 megawatt Formosa 2 project in Taiwan, the company said. The awarding consortium partners are Macquarie Capital and Swancor Renewable Energy Co, and a firm order is subject to the consortium's final investment decision, it added.

The project will utilize 47 wind turbines and will be located in Miaoli county, where construction offshore is planned to begin next year.
