Grocery chain ALDI is recalling some packages of Bakers Corner
All Purpose Flour, in cooperation with Archer Daniels Midland Co.'s
(ADM) ADM Milling Co., due to the potential presence of E.
coli.
ALDI said the isolated recall is for flour that ADM Milling
produced in Buffalo, N.Y. The five-pound bags subject to the recall
have a Dec. 2, 2019, best if used by date. ALDI said the flour was
distributed to select stores in 11 states.
Earlier this year, Hometown Food Co. recalled more than 12,000
cases of Pillsbury flour, and General Mills Inc. (GIS) has recalled
one lot of Gold Medal Unbleached Flour, both due to salmonella
concerns.
